Private Potting Parties 

Consider 3rd Day Nursery for your next event, birthday, reunion, or celebration. Our friendly staff will teach your party how to pot up your very own succulent arrangements! Inspire each other and create a piece of art the will live and grow with your friendship!

POTTING PARTIES

We LOVE that everyone loves succulents, and we are happy to accommodate private parties.  We've hosted birthdays, work functions, bridal parties, and more.  Nothing brings a group together faster than getting your hands dirty!

Parties may be hosted at the nursery, under the shade of our tents. Parties may also be hosted at other locations with additional fees that range depending on the location and services provided. Below is more information on what our parties include, pricing, etc. Hope to celebrate with you soon!

10 people or less:

$250 base price

 

10 or more people:

$300 base price for up to 15 attendees

$15 for each additional person

We Will Provide:

  • Many varieties of succulents, a lesson in propagation and cutting at different sizes. 

  • A beautiful & scenic area in the shade to create your succulent pots.

  • A tutorial from us on arrangement design.

  • Drainage screen, rocks, and soil to fill your pots 

You Will Need:

  • Pots (or anything else you can think of to plant succulents in...let's get creative!!)

More Details:

  • We start out with an introduction to succulents and the nursery, and hold a 15-30 minute sign-in period.

  • Succulent Lessons: We’ll go over how to cut small plants, and show attendees what we would do to make arrangements, and teach you all of the tricks to planting succulents and making beautiful, sustainable arrangements!

​

  • We will prepare a variety of cuttings so that event attendees can easily pot up some arrangements; however, all of our plants are available.  Attendees can put their new skills to work and search out their own beautiful clippings from all over our nursery!

​

  • We will include three different size planters in a variety of colors for attendees to fill up with gorgeous succulent clippings.  Pot sizes range from 2 inch to 5 inch.

​

  • Attending a potting party and bringing home one of our arrangements is a great way to get 20+ varieties in one container!

​​

  • We will supply ample drinking water, along with bananas or any other fruits we have available for fresh picking on the farm.  You are welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks, too!
